Singapore Battery manufacturer Durapower Holdings’ battery systems will be used in VDL Steelweld’s electric Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) being deployed for port operations in Busan, South Korea this year.
This marks yet another tender win for Durapower’s battery systems for its specialty vehicles battery solutions, and also marks Durapower’s first supply of battery systems for port applications in South Korea.
VDL has been supplied with 60 units of Durapower’s battery system for their zero emission AGVs. These AGVs will be used to transport shipping containers within the port.
